Traveling poet, playwright and solo performance artist Lenelle Moïse creates jazz-infused, poly-rhythmic, politicized texts about bi-cultural identity, creative resistance and the intersection of race, class, gender, sexuality, memory and spirit. She has performed in venues throughout the USA and Canada. She is a Huntington Playwriting Fellow and was the fifth Poet Laureate of Northampton, MA.
